Bay Forest is a wooded, master-planned neighborhood in Clear Lake City, in the southeast corner of the City of Houston (Harris County). Its community association describes it as about 299 acres with roughly 836 homes, almost all single-family.
The neighborhood lies on both sides of El Dorado Boulevard, between Space Center Boulevard and Horsepen Bayou. A Kroger-anchored shopping center, also named Bay Forest, is on El Dorado Boulevard.
According to the association, amenities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, two playgrounds, walking trails and a nature preserve. Bay Forest has no golf course of its own; the similarly named Bay Forest Golf Course is a separate municipal course in La Porte.
